Cool Cat’s owner, Jay, trained and graduated from Capital City Trade and Technical School in 2001. He’s an HVAC/EPA certified technical advisor as well as an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration contract specialist. After working for a handful of major companies in the HVAC industry, Jay decided to start his own company. He founded Cool Cat in 2005 in the greater Houston area and moved the company to Austin in 2009, where he and his wife of 16 years reside. Together they enjoy camping, fishing, and spending time with their two kids and grandson. Jay is also a proud member of the Kyle Chamber of Commerce.
